The Strive reel is fully sealed with Quantum’s SEALOQ™ 6 protection (rated to IPX6), preventing water, salt, sand, and other debris from entering the reel. The Strive reel is paired with a high-strength graphite composite rod with HD304™ heavy-duty stainless-steel guides that are insert-free and specifically designed to prevent scratches and chips.
